New self-portrait as my new dA ID, since I've been sporting short hair since last winter. Yes, this is short for me. No, I will not go any shorter. Thank you.

As much as I love that adorable shirt, it's a pain to colour, let me tell you that! To wash and keep clean too, actually.

can I ask did you draw it with photo under or next to you ?

A bit of both. I try to sketch it out first with the drawing next to me. Then I lay it underneath the sketch to see what could be better, remove the photo and then adjust what needs adjusting and repeat the whole process.

Picture. I don't have a mirror large enough, except in the bathroom. And it's not particularly one I can pick up and take with me, unfortunately.

I see this has been up for a little bit now, but I'm going to comment anyway, because it looks great

Excellent shading job mate, and I love how you did your hair (always my big problem). The hues for the skin are great and the folds in the clothes. If I may say, bit more shine in the eyes next time to really give it life.
